Two years later, Dolce and Gabbana entered into the world of fashion, and the brand Dolce & Gabbana was founded in 1985. Since the creation of their first collection in 1986, Dolce & Gabbana was an immediate success. In 1990 they presented their first collection for men and at the same time they opened a fashion boutique for women in Milan.

Since Dolce & Gabbana has become famous, many celebrities such as Madonna, Gisele Bündchen, Monica Bellucci, Isabella Rossellini, Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham and Kylie Minogue only want clothes and accessories signed by this brand.

In 2004, Dolce & Gabbana announced a separation of the paternership formed by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Nevertheless, the two men had not put an end to their collaboration, that is why the brand has not disappeared and fans can still purchase their favourite sunglasses!
